Hi it’s Daniel James. I am a celebrant with a difference.  I’ve  had years of experience in performing and singing for live audiences on stage, for concerts as well as on TV; including roles on Neighbours and Television Commercials.  I have studied Music at Box Hill College of Music as well as Drama, Media Education at Deakin University, Victoria. 

I love to sing and enjoy touching people with my gift of song I am a trained tenor, but I enjoy singing most styles (from Elvis to Anthony Warlow).  I also play guitar and accompany myself.  There are some songs I prefer to perform with my wife Donna (who is an accomplished pianiste).  We have played both in Australia as well as overseas for engagements.  

I have also use my years of life experiences of  teaching, both instrumental music and classroom as well as assisting people in stressful situations including 12 years as a Driving Instructor (I lived to tell the tale!)

I come from what would be described as a large family these days (I’m no. 5 out of 6 kids)  and my values to life  assist me in helping people in celebrating their love with a ceremony that reflects their beliefs. 

You might be surprised to know that the value of marriage in our society today is stronger than ever.

If you are having your ceremony officiated by your families/churches minister but you are interested in a musical performance as part of your ceremony, I am available for bookings (subject to availability) for performance of music at your wedding ceremony.
 
If you require me to officiate as your celebrant for your wedding without performing music, I can be persuaded to do so as well!  Remember it is your day after all; I am happy to oblige!
